Booking conditions
​DIRECT BOOKING

With your booking you accept following terms:
-
up to 3 weeks before your date of arrival : free cancellation.

on this date your reservation needs to be reconfirmed and becomes final.

HIGH SEASON, HOLIDAYS, LONG WEEKENDS, AND EXTENDED WEEKENDS
- For weekends during high season, holidays (long weekends, extended weekends), and high-season periods, we require a minimum stay of 2 or 3 nights.

SINGLE NIGHTS - FOR GROUPS & MORE THAN 1 ROOM:​

For single-night bookings for groups and multiple rooms, we require a non-refundable deposit based on the size of the booking, with terms and conditions communicated at the time of booking.

Payment of the deposit and the final balance is in two installments:
-
the first upon booking via bank transfer,
-
the second, as the balance:
-
either via bank transfer before arrival (approximately 1 to 3 weeks before your stay)

or in cash upon arrival at the property.

You will be provided with a receipt for both payments and an invoice upon departure.

​If you are unable to stay, we can reschedule your reservation to another date within the fiscal year (by December 31 of the current year) only if the cancellation is communicated at least 3 weeks prior to arrival.

CANCELLATIONS & HONESTY IN BOOKING

If you must cancel, we ask that it be for serious reasons. We kindly ask that you notify us of the cancellation as soon as possible.

We are a family that relies on room revenue, and it is important for us to understand the reason behind any cancellation. We kindly ask that you provide feedback regarding the cancellation. We do not want too many strict rules, but we do ask for the utmost honesty regarding your reservation.

Precisely this honesty in commitment of your booking is very much appreciated. We see a growing practice of animous booking behaviour and “online accommodation shopping” by taking up undecided or opportune reservations for cancelling afterwards only to personal convenience. These type of reservations especially occur through booking platforms as Booking.com. It not only creates extra work but, above all, leaves us feeling very upset. ​Blocking rooms, even for one night, only for personal convenience, does not only deny other guests the chance to book and stay with us, but it also deprives and ensured income, just like many employees or workmen have. We therefore ask you to consider your reservation with great sincerity so we can avoid implementing stricter booking terms.

HOUSE RULES

By making a reservation, whether directly or through the Booking.com platform, the guest accepts the house rules (see the ‘Rates’ section).
